Spoiled

It has come to the point that we do not even know where to start to say 'thank you' to our surrogate New Zealand family.
Rich and Col, and Tom, their son, welcomed us back into their home last week, showing us even more fine New Zealand hospitality. Farmer's markets, cafes, late night risottos, unbelievable lamb dinners and even a Crusaders rugby match....we are so fortunate to have been connected with this family, we can't even believe it. Returning back to their place was seriously like returning to a safe, familiar haven. Although the food and the outings have been highlights of our trip, the opportunity to feel relaxed, settled and comfortable in someone else's home while traveling in another country is probably the most incredible gift that we have received. I think the thing we value the most about our time spent with Rich and Col is just that...the time.
